I am leaving home
I am writing to you from a bus going to Port Harcourt.
Chill, I’m not running away from home yet (I am considering this though, lol).
Remember my first article on here, yeah the one about my Bootcamp experience.
Months later and I am traveling to Port Harcourt with Switch as an assistant instructor to teach UI/UX to the PH clan.
“So fasttttt?” “How did you do it?” “What soap are you using?”
Yeah, I am as shocked as you are, but I am excited.
Why are you excited?
Chill, the police just stopped us.

Okay, they’ve freed us, let’s continue.
I am excited first of all for leaving my house and changing my environment. I am tired of explaining my job to my mom, she’ll still accuse me of sitting in front of my “computer” from morning to night. I still love you, mom
On a serious note, I am excited about growth and the challenges and triumphs it brings along.
I went for the Future Clan Bootcamp with no expectation really but look at me now on a journey to impart knowledge to people.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not letting stuff get to my head.
Far from it.
I am just happy with my transition from being a “problem-sulker” to a problem-solver, and yes, it’s all thanks to UI/UX.
The basic ethos of UI/UX design is solving problems and boy oh boy, there is nothing as amazing as solving problems.

That’s why I am much more excited to introduce people to this endless world of problem-solving.
Yeah, a lot of people want to get into tech for the money, which isn’t bad though, but they might find it hard to keep up at times when the money isn’t coming in. That is why much more than getting people into tech, it is far more important to get them into tech for the right reasons, which I am very sure Switch will do and has always done really because I am evidence to that.
I don’t know why I am writing like someone that is celebrating a 25-year anniversary in tech lol.
I’ll just end it here and start thinking of how I’ll stand in front of hundreds of people tomorrow lol.
